The Research and Exhibit Center (R&EC) of Pines City Colleges (PCC), under the leadership of Dr. Lany S. Paway, successfully launched its annual Institutional Research Forum for Academic Year 2024–2025 on April 28, 2025, at the PCC ESBC Main Open Ground. With the theme “Upholding Research: The Key to Empowered Health Professionals,” the event underscored the vital role of research in developing well-rounded, skilled, and compassionate health professionals. The forum featured three main segments held simultaneously: Oral Paper Presentations at the PT-AVR; Product Presentations; and the Three-minute Policy Pitch and Poster Presentation, both conducted at the PCC Main Building Open Ground Garden.

Ms. Luiza Botengan, the host, warmly welcomed everyone and set an enthusiastic tone for the day’s proceedings. She then introduced the panel of distinguished judges, who were tasked with evaluating the participants’ research work based on relevance, innovation, and impact.

The Research Center, through this annual forum, continues to foster a research culture that empowers students to think critically and contribute meaningfully to their disciplines. With a strong support system in place, PCC remains committed to guiding aspiring researchers in their pursuit of knowledge and innovation.
