In every institution, employees play a major role in its progress. Thus, Pines City Colleges (PCC), being the center of excellence in allied health in the region, exercises just, respectful, and rightful governing human resource practices towards its employees.
On April 4, 2024, PCC in collaboration with the Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Committee conducted its annual medical examination for its regular employees. This is to ensure the health and well-being of its employees through early detection and prevention of any health conditions. These checkups also serve to screen for any illness, allowing them to be recognized and treated before symptoms arise. The PCC medical Clinic provided these medical services to the PCC employees, together with an external laboratory service provider and Pines City Doctor’s Hospital (PCDH)
PCC expects the laboratory tests provided to help the employees monitor their health conditions so they can take necessary measures. These would also help in improving their lifestyle, which would affect their health and could have a positive impact on their work performances in PCC and in the community. This annual physical exam reminds everyone that Health is Wealth. #Adela Wayas/Collin Jaye Laguinday
