Baguio City, April 23, 2025 — The Guidance Office— Pines City Colleges (PCC) headed by Ms. Consuelo Pagaduan took a bold step in shaping the future of health professionals with its Career Guidance Fair and Seminar, held on the open grounds of the PT-AVR & ESBC Main Building. With the theme “Upholding Empowered PCC Health Professionals,” the event ran from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, gathering students, faculty, and key industry representatives in a vibrant celebration of professional development and career exploration.

The fair had educational booths specially curated by several institutional and government partners such as the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), and the PESO Employment Services. Following the seminar on job opportunities, the students took part in psychological testing designed to assess their resilience and adaptability in the face of challenges. The test also aimed to identify their strengths and areas for improvement. A total of 110 PCC students participated in the assessment.

During the afternoon session at PCC, ESBC Main Building, Open Grounds, the students were highly engaged, with vibrant stands, career brochures, and participatory sessions aimed at enabling them to make the right choices regarding their future careers. The fair was not only a portal to career avenues but also a platform for the students to acknowledge their capability and the role they will play in the country’s healthcare system.

Group guidance sessions were held to help students manage stress, develop effective study habits, and promote overall well-being.
