PCC-SAS Welcomes Transferees and Returnees for Second Semester AY 2025–2026

Pines City Colleges–Student Affairs and Services (PCC-SAS) officially welcomed transferees and returnees for the Second Semester of Academic Year 2025–2026 through a whole-day orientation held on January 23, 2026, at the PCDH Amphitheater from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The orientation was facilitated by SAS emcees Ms. Jemmima Trinidad and Ms. Jona Garapo, followed by welcoming remarks from Dr. Marian Grace Gascon, Vice President for Academic Affairs, stating, “We hope you grow professionally as you stay here at Pines City Colleges.” She also acknowledged the challenges of adjusting to a new academic environment and encouraged students to grow professionally during their stay at Pines City Colleges.

An overview of the PCC Philosophy, Vision, Mission, Core Values, Institutional Logo, academic programs, and recognitions was presented by Mr. Jayson Belino, Head of the SAS Department. Key student support services followed, including discussions on student records, government financial assistance, and international student services by Ms. Marie Agacer of the Registrar’s Office, and student account services by Ms. Rosegel Lumiwes from the Accounting Department.

Health and safety were highlighted through a presentation by Dr. Lani Rose Posadas-Ciriaco, School Physician, who discussed medical consultation schedules, and health protocols. Safety and security services were discussed by Mr. Lance Cabutaje of the Disaster Control Group, while library and information services were introduced by Ms. Blessie Dawn Peningeo. ICT-related services such as student Wi-Fi, PCC portal, Google ID, and ID processing were presented by Mr. Renzel Candelario.





In the afternoon session, Ms. Consuelo Pagaduan, Guidance Counselor, and Ms. Jona Mae Garapo, Psychometrician, discussed the guidance and counseling services, career and job placement, scholarships and discounts, and testing services. School policies, student organizations and activities, student discipline, student government, online etiquette, and culture and arts programs were thoroughly explained by SAS officers Ms. Jemmima Trinidad and Ms. Lei Charmaigne Espiritu.

The orientation aimed to equip students with essential information to help them transition smoothly into campus life and foster both academic and professional growth. Anchored on PCC’s Mission and Vision, the activity emphasized a holistic approach to education guided by the institution’s core values: Passion, Integrity, Nurturance, Excellence, and Service. #Iveeh Amparo
