Senior High School students Rafael Jemiah Tapnio and Jezelle Canite from Grade 11, and Zhedrick Napudo from Grade 12 represented Pines City Colleges – Senior High School in the Panagbenga 2026 Session Road in Bloom Quiz Bee Competition on March 3, 2026, held at the main stage along Session Road in Baguio City. Accompanied by their coach, Ms. Giselle Limayog, this academic competition is organized as part of the Panagbenga 2026 Festival celebration, gathering student representatives from different schools in Baguio City to answer questions on various academic subjects and current events. Through teamwork and preparation, the PCC–Senior High School representatives competed in the event and secured 6th place in the competition.

The quiz bee served as one of the academic highlights of the Session Road in Bloom activities, drawing participants from several schools in Baguio City to compete in a test of knowledge and quick thinking covering a wide range of topics, including Science, English, Mathematics, History, Filipino and Current events.

The lively atmosphere along Session Road added energy and excitement to the quiz bee, as coaches, teachers, students and passers gathered to watch the competition of the Panagbenga Festival celebration. Despite the festive surroundings and the presence of a large audience, the participants remained focused and composed while answering questions on stage, demonstrating their dedication and determination throughout the event.

Some questions proved to be challenging for the contestants. However, the PCC representatives managed the pressure by supporting one another, communicating effectively, and staying calm throughout the competition.

This achievement of the Pines City Colleges – Senior High School in the Panagbenga 2026 Session Road in Bloom Quiz Bee reflects not only their academic preparedness but also the school’s commitment to encouraging students to actively engage in learning opportunities beyond the classroom. #Krystal Dayrit (SHS)
